ISDDE has established this journal to promote excellence in the research-based design, development, and evaluation of educational products and processes in the fields of mathematics, science, engineering and technology.

The Guide to contributors gives further information on the rationale, target audiences, criteria and areas in which contributions are encouraged; within this structure, authors are allowed considerable freedom in presenting their work.
